LG uses the MusicFlow app to control it's multi room speakers, which like the others connect via a WiFI network. They are a great looking 360 speaker and at the lower end prices start at around £100. LG also use NFC technology in some of its multi room speakers, this runs at a higher rate for a clearer sound quality.
Bose are one of the best known high end brand of audio equipment. They've built up this reputation over a long period of time and their sound quality is top notch. Their Bose multi room speakers support all the main types of music streaming and they too, have there own app to allow you to seamlessly control the music you want to play. Bose multi room speakers also allow playing DAB/FM/AM radio too. Another feature to look out for if you still like this option. Price wise, Bose are of a better quality and have a more respected brand name than it's competitors, so expect to pay a little more. There base Bose speaker will set you back £170 for example. Sony are massive in audio and sound technology. And they have cross platform compatibility too. Still not as expensive as the Bose, but pretty high none the less.
Panasonic are a little different in their approach to multi room speakers. Many other brands are not cross brand compatible, but Panasonic multi room speakers use qualcomm's AllPlay platform. This means any other brands that use this same platform can be connected. Some of these brands are Hitachi and FON. You can pick up the base model for around the £130 mark, making them similar to other mid range brands, if not a little cheaper.
