    Product Overview

    Roast and bake to your heart’s content with this black Hotpoint gas cooker. The conventional gas oven is great for preparing traditional dishes, because heat rises to the top. This means you can put the shephard’s pie on the middle shelf, and an apple pie on the bottom, for a delicious feast. Thanks to the flame failure safety feature, the gas supply will immediately cut off if the flame accidentally goes out, so it’s always super-safe. To select your desired setting and temperature, simply turn the rotary dials to get cooking straightaway. Plus, the catalytic liners will absorb any sauce splatters, so all it’ll need is a quick wipe.

    The main thing I dislike is you need to hold down the gas, press spark a few times and once on, count for few seconds for all hobs oven & grill to stay working. It looks lovely but is very small and narrow in real life.

    The product is excellent. Very similar to my previous model, which is what I wanted . It has a good sized oven and a grill, so it covers all bases . I'm very pleased.

    Terrible grill pan handle.

    The cooker itself is fine. There is only one shelf provided in the oven and the grill pan handle is dangerous. It has to be removed to enable you to shut the grill door. Ao were great.

    Great product and good service from AO. The AO team were helpful answering all my questions. But they seem to want to sell me additional insurance. And I was not too comfortable with this approach. The guy installing the cooker was very good and informed me how some of the new features worked. The men removed the cooker without complaints event though they need to use the stairs.

    Great simple cooker.

    Really good cooker for the price. Simple and easy, just what I wanted. The grill takes awhile to heat up and the shelf you have to slide in to protect the knobs is weird but it doesn’t annoy me at all. I find the cooker perfect for the size, it cooks well and is easy to clean. The hobs turn very nicely and simmer well, very pleased.

    Smart cooker, resulting in a happy tenant

    The cooker was ordered for our tenant. Originally we ordered the stainless steel cooker but this was unable to be supplied due to a supply issue. AO advised us of the difficulty and our order was quickly and efficiently changed to the black model. The tenant is very happy with it and the cooker looks smart in situ. Not having used it myself, I am unable to comment on the functions of the cooker but the tenant is happy with how it is working.

      Get your new cooker fitted the same day it’s delivered with our connection service. Our Gas Safe-registered engineers will disconnect your old appliance for you before getting your new one completely set up and ready to use. We’ll unpack it and give it a full health check first, to make sure everything is in tip-top shape, and we’ll give you an official gas safety certificate too. Before you order our connection service, there are a few things you should know and a couple of things to check. Take a look at our helpful gas cooking installation page for more information.

      We’re taking a sensible approach to the changing COVID-19 situation, and so we’ve had to make some adjustments to our services.

      If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up.

      If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

      The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

      Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.
