Check the installation requirements carefully before buying!! Unfortunately we had to return this Indesit hob as it didn't fit into our new kitchen cabinet (with cutlery drawer insert). Buried in the instructions was a requirement to install a separator shelf under the hob to prevent too much heat going into the cabinet below (not required if its going above an oven). Separator shelf is not provided with the hob and finding information and "where to buy" details online was not an easy task. After a few hours of searching, I finally found that we did not have enough space under the hob for the separator shelf to be fitted. The product itself looked good but I can't really comment on it as it never got connected. Just to warn other potential buyers - my understanding is if it's going above a cabinet then you need an additional separator shelf and a minimum of 66mm vertical space from work surface to the bottom of the shelf. If its going above an oven then the separator shelf is not a requirement. Either way, read the Health & Safety section and the installation instructions carefully before purchasing to ensure it fits into your kitchen.

I purchased this hob due to the fact that my gas hob was eating energy for fun ! After researching product reviews this hob at its price point came out on top. I can now confirm the hugh savings on energy costs and apart from the fact that it is easy to control it looks good in my kitchen.

A replacement for a smashed hob. Very similar - perhaps too fancy with the preprogrammed functions but bought to sell the house. Looks great and does the job.
